Merry Christmas! I just realized I have now been home for six months. It seems odd to have had it pass in so short of a time. On my mission, time flew so fast at first, and then went even faster as it progressed. But these past six months have gone by.
I'm still working full time as a Customer Service Representative in a call center, but I should be moving to part time shortly. This winter/spring, I will start school at Utah State University here in Logan. It has taken a lot of thought and soul searching to decide to stay in the valley and go to a university I've never really wanted to attend, but it feels right, and I think this is where I am supposed to be.
I attend the student ward that covers Hyde Park and part of Logan, I am serving as a 'Family Home Evening Group Leader' and as a Home Teacher. I really enjoy the university ward, and being around so many people my own age.
Currently, I am reading a biography of Joseph Smith, and deepening my knowledge and testimony of his divine call as a modern prophet. I really enjoyed the commemorative broadcast on his 200th Birthday, which was yesterday.
I still enjoy running into people I haven't seen in a long time, and have seen some of the people I served around on my mission. I have even rung some of the people I know in the U.K. I even have been to a wedding of a missionary I have served around. Some of you I haven't seen or heard from in a long time, I would like to hear from you, please email or contact me. Even if I have heard from you recently, drop me a line, I would love to hear how things are going.
Anyway, sorry if this isn't much of a letter, but I thought I would just drop a line and let everyone know what I am up to. I hope all of you have a very happy and fulfilling Christmas tomorrow, and enjoy the company of your loved ones. Also, take time to reflect the what it is really all about, and why we celebrate this day. Remember, it is all about Him.
