Scripture Power

It has often been said my LDS Seminary and Institute teachers that if you read the scriptures everyday, you would basically have either better days or more power to get through the day.  I've tried that in my own life and have seen that it has worked.

However, while I still read at least a little bit in the scriptures each day, a combination of early classes, early work schedules, or just laziness has pushed my scripture time to the evenings, just before bed.  And by that time it is usually just an afterthought.

I have had a run of fairly bad days lately, and I thought that maybe I could benefit from the old seminary promise.  I have made it a point to read my scriptures while I'm waiting for my breakfast to cook, as well as after I've eaten.  It has made a difference.  My days aren't perfect, and I have my ups and downs, but the scripture study helps.  The promise is true.
